I have a request by Akira-the-Alicorn coming up next. This took me quite a while, but here we are! I like how the clouds turned out...

Excellent work, mate! I really like the atmospheric perspective. I have no discipline to fill in the whole page with color like that. lol

Anyway, what brand of paper do you use?

Just some cheap stuff from Mead (for this sketchbook anyways), but I like the effect it has on my drawings.

Howdy! I was bored and wandered onto /f/lockdraw, an online drawing app, but it was pretty much deserted and somebody had set your picture as the background to compensate for the lack of activity. I liked it a lot, but thought it looked a bit washed out compared to the digital art that's normally on there, so I used some blurry, low-opacity overlay brushes to brighten it up a bit.

I thought the effect was surprisingly good in some areas (you can see it in action here)! I figured I'd let you know about the technique in case you ever feel like 'cheating' a bit to make one of your coloured pencil works look more vibrant on digital screens. :)
